Lava quarried from Mount Etna is an extremely durable stone taken from the lower layer laid down by volcanic lava flows thousands of years ago. Our table tops are cut from slab in various dimensions then prepared for decoration and firing in specially designed kilns. Layers of under glaze are applied as a base for the design
and patterns meticulously hand painted by our skilled artisans working in centuries old
tradition. finally after multiple coats of over glaze are applied and firing cycle is
complete, the results are a smooth lustrous finish impervious to moisture, frost, and the
elements. The tables are ideally suited for patios, gardens or sun rooms outdoors or
